Program Description

The Vertical Collective ("we," "us") operates an SMS text messaging program for members of our professional community. By opting in, you consent to receive recurring transactional text messages related to curated 1:1 professional intro suggestions, intro confirmations when both members opt in, and community updates. Messages are sent from our dedicated phone number and are strictly transactional — we do not send marketing, promotional, or solicitation messages through this channel.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. You can expect to receive approximately 2–6 text messages per month. Actual frequency depends on community activity and your engagement with intro suggestions.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan and any charges that may apply.

Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying with any of the following keywords to any message you receive from us:

• STOP
• END
• CANCEL
• UNSUBSCRIBE
• QUIT

After sending any of these keywords, you will receive a one-time confirmation message confirming your opt-out. You will not receive any further messages unless you re-subscribe by texting START.

Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to participate in our text messaging program. By opting in, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you are the account holder for the mobile number provided, or have authorization from the account holder to opt in.

Consent

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of membership in The Vertical Collective or of any purchase. You may participate in the community without opting in to text messages.

Privacy and Data Sharing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are not sold, rented, or shared with any third party for any reason except as required to deliver the SMS service (e.g., our messaging platform provider). Carrier Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission from your wireless carrier and network availability.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Continued participation in our text messaging program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
