• Professional information (role, company, industry, seniority, interests, and challenges)

How We Use Your Data

We use your information to:

• Match you with other members for relevant introductions
• Send community updates and event invitations
• Improve the quality of our intro suggestions over time

SMS / Text Messaging Program

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive recurring transactional SMS messages from The Vertical Collective related to curated 1:1 professional intro suggestions, intro confirmations, and community updates. Message frequency varies, typically 2–6 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for assistance. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are not sold, rented, or shared with any third party for any reason except as required to deliver the SMS service (e.g., our messaging platform provider). All categories of information sharing described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent — this information will not be shared with any third parties. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We Never Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes. Your data is used solely to operate The Vertical Collective intro network.

Profile Enrichment

We use Harmonic, a third-party data enrichment service, to supplement your LinkedIn profile data for accuracy. This helps us build a more complete profile so we can make better introductions. Enriched data is stored alongside your member profile and subject to the same protections.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as you are an active member of the collective. If you wish to have your data deleted, contact us and we will remove your information within 30 days.
